What StockAdder does

StockAdder is a Chrome extension that helps you bulk-add stocks, ETFs and crypto to your TradingView watchlists. It communicates directly with TradingView's scanner API to fetch ticker data.

Data we collect

We do not collect, store or transmit any personal data. StockAdder does not have a backend that receives your data.

Local storage

The extension uses Chrome's local storage to save your preferences such as selected filters and watchlist settings. This data stays on your device and is never sent to us.

Third-party services

StockAdder communicates with TradingView's public scanner API to fetch ticker data. No other third-party services receive your data through the extension.

The stockadder.com website uses Google Analytics to measure anonymous page traffic. No personally identifiable information is collected.

Permissions

The extension requests the following Chrome permissions solely to operate its core functionality:

• activeTab / tabs — to detect and interact with your open TradingView tab
• scripting — to inject scripts into TradingView pages to manage your watchlist
• storage — to save your preferences locally
• alarms — to schedule background syncs
• host permissions — to communicate with TradingView's scanner API
